On November 5, at the invitation of Law School of Dalian Maritime University, Dr. Zheng Yi, Director of China Behavior Law Association Soft Law Research Center, Lecturer and Master Tutor of Law School of Minzu University of China, gave an academic lecture to students from Law School of DMU with the topic “Local Legislative Power under Modification of ‘Legislative Law’”, which was a hotspot of research on legislation law currently.
During the lecture, Teacher Zheng reported from three main aspects: reform background of local legislative power in “Legislative Law”; analysis and cold thinking of the problems in the modification of “Legislative Law”; modification of “Legislative Law” and reform of autonomous prefecture legislative power. Through background analysis and comprehensive comparison of similar concepts, he anatomized and evaluated the changes to part of the articles in-depth, which clearly showed the changes, advantages and disadvantages of local legislation system. With the logical languages, detailed and refined contents, students gained a lot from the lecture.
This public law salon of Law School made students learn to think under current system and have a more comprehensive and profound understanding of the significance of modifying “Legislative Law”.
