In addition, professor Chu will be invited to chair and moderate a session at the Congress.

ICMA is a very important forum in the field of maritime arbitration in which maritime arbitrators, lawyers, scholars and shipping industry will deliberate on and exchange views and news of professional interest. The series of conferences of ICMA are held every 2 or 3 years in the spirit of a joint effort to promote maritime arbitration all over the world. Professor Chu has attended several conferences of ICMA and was the member of the Topics & Agenda Committee for ICMA XX (held in September of 2017, Denmark) where he also spoke in the first session on “The Impetus and Impediment in Amending China’s Arbitration Law 1995”.
