主讲人简介：
Andrew Tettenborn，英国斯旺西大学法学院教授，斯旺西大学国际航运和贸易法研究中心研究员。在加入斯旺西大学法学院之前，他曾在剑桥大学、诺丁汉大学、埃克赛特大学任教。他在合同法、侵权法、商法、海商法等多个领域均有建树，在英国、澳大利亚和欧洲大陆均享有极高的学术声望。他是英国侵权法权威参考书“Clerk & Lindsell on Torts”和英国船舶碰撞法权威参考书“Marsden on Collisions at Sea”的编者之一，也是“英国合同法重述（Restatement of English Contract Law）”项目的参与人之一。
与谈人简介：
朱作贤教授，海商法博士，大连海事大学法学院副院长、教授，大连海事大学法学院海商法系主任， 2009年9月-2010年9月，英国诺丁汉大学法学院与斯旺西大学法学院访问学者。研究领域：海上保险法、租船运输、欧美航运法、海事诉讼与仲裁等。

About the speaker:
Professor Tettenborn joined Swansea University in 2010, having previously taught full-time at Nottingham, Cambridge and Exeter universities and held visiting positions at (among others) Melbourne, Connecticut, and Case Western. He is a general common and commercial lawyer with wide interests; in his teaching at Swansea he specialises in trade, banking and payments, and in admiralty.
Professor Tettenborn’s quality of teaching has been acknowledged by Swansea University in 2015 with the award of a well-deserved prize for excellence in learning and teaching, following spontaneous nomination from within the student body. He co-editsMarsden’s Collisions at SeaandClerk & Lindsell on Tortsand sits on the editorial board ofLloyd’s Maritime and Commercial Law Quarterlyand theJournal of International Maritime Law. In addition he writes extensively in private law and is on the specialist team ofClerk & Lindsell on Torts.In most years Professor Tettenborn also teaches guest courses at Cambridge, Geneva or both, and travels extensively to advise and give papers on many aspects of commercial law.
About the discussant:
Professor Zuoxian Zhu is currently the Vice Dean of the Law School of Dalian Maritime University. His research areas extend to marine insurance law, charterparties, shipping Law in Europe and America, maritime litigation and arbitration, etc. From September 2009 to September 2010, he was a visiting scholar to the School of Law at the University of Nottingham and the School of Law at Swansea university.
