主讲人简介

宋美娴，大连海事大学法学院副教授， 特聘兴海教授, 中国执业律师资格。英国南安普顿大学法学博士，英国伦敦大学学院法学硕士，大连海事大学法学学士（海商法）。2013年-2022年间曾任英国埃克塞特大学法学院讲师、英国南安普顿大学法学院讲师。Lloyd’s Shipping and Trade Law 主编。主要研究领域为海商法，保险法，英国商法和合同法。发表英文专著Causation in Insurance Contract Law, 累计发表中英文论文30余篇。

About the Speaker:

Dr Meixian Song is currently Associate Professor of Law School, “Xinghai” Professorship holder at Dalian Maritime University, practising lawyer in China. LLB (DMU), LLM (UCL), Meixian obtained PhD degree at University of Southampton in 2012. Between 2013-2022, Meixian was lecturer at University of Exeter Law School and then lecturer at University of Southampton Law School. Her research interest lies in shipping and insurance Law, English commercial law and contract law. Meixian is the editor-in-chief of Lloyd’s Shipping and Trade Law, writing to the Lloyd’s London Market practitioners and commercial lawyers regarding the most updated and heated topics in the field. She has published over 30 research papers and one monograph entitled “Causation in Insurance Contract Law”.
