主讲人简介

Michael Faure教授是马斯特里赫特大学欧洲跨国法治研究院院长，马斯特里赫特大学法学院比较法和国际环境法教授，鹿特丹伊拉斯姆斯大学比较私法和法经济学教授，鹿特丹伊拉斯姆斯大学欧盟法经济学项目学术院长，在由阿姆斯特丹、鲁汶、乌特勒支和马斯特里赫特几所大学共同成立的普通法研究院担任学术院长。

福尔教授拥有比利时的律师执业资格，在具有影响力的国际期刊和美国法律评论上发表了众多学术文章，出版了多部著作，同时向比利时、荷兰政府和欧盟委员会提供政策意见。

About the speaker

Prof. Dr. Michael G. Faure is academic director of the Maastricht European institute for transnational legal research (METRO) and professor of Comparative and International Environmental Law at the law faculty of Maastricht University since 1991, academic director of the Ius Commune Research School, a collaboration between the Universities of Amsterdam, Leuven, Utrecht and Maastricht since 1995, and half time professor of comparative private law and economics at the Rotterdam Institute of Law & Economics (RILE) and academic director of the European Doctorate in Law and Economics (EDLE) programme of the Erasmus University in Rotterdam since 2008.

Prof. Faure is equally attorney at the Antwerp Bar since 1982. He has published numerous papers in internationally refereed journals and American law reviews. He has also published several influential books. He has often provided policy advice to the governments of Belgium, the Netherlands, and to the European Commission.
