讲座人简介
Baatz 教授曾于2003年至2006年期间担任南安普顿大学海商法研究中心主任,自2007年担任海商法教授。2018年起她成为伦敦玛丽女王大学商法研究中心的教授,教授有关货物运输、租船合同:法律与实践、海上保险、海上冲突法和船东互保协会等课程。她在海上货物运输、冲突法和海上保险等领域发表了大量著作。同时,她也是由Informa Law at Routledge出版社出版的《海商法》的主编,该书现已是第四版(2018年),她为该书关于法律冲突和租船合同的书贡献了两章内容。
讲座人简介
Goldby博士是伦敦玛丽女王大学商法研究中心航运、保险和商法的研究员,也是该中心保险法研究所及其国际航运法法学硕士项目的主任。她是国际海事委员会货物运输常务委员会的成员,也是国际商会英国商业法律与实践委员会的副主席。同时,她也是《海上贸易中的电子文件:法律与实践》(第二版,牛津大学出版社2019年版)的作者,《仲裁在航运法中的作用》(牛津大学出版社,2016年版)和《系统性风险与保险监管的未来》(Informa, 2015年版)的主编,是英国保险法协会杂志的总编辑。

After practising as a solicitor specialising in shipping litigation in the City of London Professor Yvonne Baatz lectured at the University of Southampton where she was Director of the Institute of Maritime Law from 2003 to 2006. In 2007 she became Professor of Maritime Law. Since 2018 she is a Professor at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary, University of London. There she teaches on the modules on Carriage of Goods, Charterparties: Law and Practice, Marine Insurance, Maritime Conflict of Laws and P & I Clubs. She has published widely in the fields of Carriage of Goods by Sea, Conflict of Laws and Marine Insurance. She is editor of Maritime Law, published by Informa Law at Routledge, now in its fourth edition (2018) and contributed two chapters to that book on the Conflict of Laws and Charterparties.
Dr Miriam Goldby is Reader in Shipping, Insurance and Commercial Law at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary University of London, and director of the Centre’s Insurance Law Institute and its LLM Programme in International Shipping Law. She is a member of the CMI Standing Committee on Carriage of Goods and vice chair of ICC UK’s Commercial Law and Practice Committee. She is the author of Electronic Documents in Maritime Trade: Law and Practice (2nd edn, OUP 2019) and the editor of The Role of Arbitration in Shipping Law (OUP, 2016) and of Systemic Risk and the Future of Insurance Regulation (Informa, 2015). She is also the general editor of the British Insurance Law Association Journal.
