主讲人简介About the speaker

赵亮博士，英国南安普顿大学法学院副教授。大连海事大学法学学士，英国南安普顿大学海商法硕士，香港大学博士。研究领域为海商法、保险法、合同法、国际私法和比较法。赵亮博士是联合国贸易法委员会访问学者（2008），伦敦城市大学法学院访问学者（2014）和新加坡国立大学海商法中心高级研究员（2016, 2019）。也是伦敦仲裁员协会会员，中国海商法协会会员。在众多著名学术期刊发表中英文论文。英文专著和合著书籍包括《海上货物运输控制权研究》（专著，LAP Lambert Academic Publishing, 2013）和《中国海商法和实践》（合著，Informa Law from Routledge, 2017）。

Dr Liang Zhao is an Associate Professor in Law at Southampton Law School, University of Southampton, UK. He obtained LLB at Dalian Maritime University, LLM at University of Southampton and PhD at The University of Hong Kong. He was a Visiting Scholar of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law in 2008, an Academic Visitor of the City Law School of City University London in 2014 and Senior Research Fellow of the Maritime Law Centre of the Faculty of Law of National University of Singapore in 2016 and 2019. He is ad hoc arbitrator in Hong Kong, Supporting member of London Maritime Arbitrations Association, Member of China Maritime Law Association. His interest areas include maritime law, insurance law, conflict of laws and comparative law. He has published academic papers in reputable periodicals He has written a book titled Right of Control in the Law of Carriage of Goods by Sea published by LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing in 2013 and co-authored a book entitled “Maritime Law and Practice in China” published by Informa law from Routledge in 2017.
