金秋九月，首批“法学（中外合作办学）”专业学生汇集海大，即将开始为期四年的中英海商法学教育之旅。

In September, the first cohort of students in the Joint Double Degree Programme in LLB Law between Dalian Maritime University (DMU) and Swansea University gathered at DMU, about to start their four-year study of Sino-British maritime law.

首批2024级中外合作办学项目学生，来自全国20个省市，他们肩负着学校和父母的殷切期望，怀揣着对国际化法学教育的憧憬、对成为涉外法律人才的祈愿，相会在渤海之滨、凌水河畔。在紧张有序的军训生活伊始，同学们通过视频分享了自己的体会。

The first cohort of students are coming from 20 provinces and cities across the country. They met on the shore of Bohai Sea and bank of Lingshui River, with the high expectations of the school and parents on their shoulders, and the longing for international legal education and the prayer of becoming foreign-related legal talents in their hearts. At the beginning of the intense and orderly military training, students shared their experiences through videos.

2024级新生Jenny的爸爸，在陪伴孩子来到校园完成报到注册之后，有感于女儿即将独立开始的一段新的人生旅程，满怀深情地写下了一封英文短信，鼓励孩子乐享学习之旅。质朴的语言，代表了所有家长们的心声。孩子们的求学之路，有来自家庭和学校的关爱滋养，必将馨香满径、繁花似锦。

Jenny’s father, after accompanying Jenny to DMU for the enrollment and registration process, wrote a heartfelt message to encourage Jenny to enjoy her learning journey as she embarks on a new life journey on her own. The simple words represent the voices of all parents. With the love and care from the family and the school, the students' journey of learning will be full of fragrance and blossoms.
