“3+1+1” Joint Proframme (Study Abroad + Master of Laws Program Provisions) means that the students in the Law School of DMU will complete the first three years’ undergraduate study at DMU. And then they can apply for and accomplish the last year’s undergraduate courses abroad. Prospective students will be screened and pre-selected by DMU. Application forms together with supporting documentation should be submitted in hard copy and should be received by the Law School of foreign universities. Students will receive an unconditional offer as needed to apply for a visa of US or UK.
Students should return to DMU after completing courses abroad, in graduation thesis defense, which will award bachelor’s degree if they pass defensesmoothly. In the fifth year, students under this programme can study master courses in partner directly universities. On successful completion of study at universities, the students will be awarded a LLM from university.
A) The duration of programme: three years at DMU, one year at UK/US university .
B) Applicant qualification: enrolled junior students of DMU.

a) Swansea University College of Law
A good degree, accomplish the first three years' study at DMU with average score not less than 75 points; IELTS score should reach or exceed 6.0 (with scores of each part not less than 5.5) . Other language certificate with the same level should be also accepted.
b) University of Nottingham, School of Law
A good degree, accomplish the first three years' study at DMU with average score not less than 83 points; IELTS score should reach or exceed 6.5 (with scores of each part not less than 6.0) . Other language certificate with the same level should be also accepted.
c) University of Southampton Law School
A good degree, accomplish the first three years' study at DMU with average score not less than 83 points; IELTS score should reach or exceed 6.5 (with scores of each part not less than 6.0) . Other language certificate with the same level should be also accepted.
d) University of Exeter Law School
A good degree, accomplish the first three years' study at DMU with average score not less than 80 points; IELTS score should reach or exceed 7.0 (with scores of each part not less than 5.0, score of writing part not less than 6.0 ) . Other language certificate with the same level should be also accepted.
e) Tulane University, School of Law
A good degree, accomplish the first three years' study at DMU with average score not less than 83 points; IELTS score should reach or exceed 6.5 (with scores of each part not less than 6.0) or IBT score should reach or exceed 88 (with scores of each part not less than 19). Other language certificate with the same level should be also accepted.
D. Requirements of DMU
a) A good degree ( both compulsory courses and optional courses all passed)
b) all credits in studying plan.
