In September 2008 the Intellectual Property Research Centre (IPRC) was established with an initial gift from the Administration of Dalian Municipal Intellectual Property, and the Development Research Center for intellectual property rights was founded at the same time.
The foundation of the IPRC presents a wonderful opportunity for consolidation and growth, both for the Centre itself and IP at Dalian Maritime University more generally. It comes at a time of wider growth in IP at DMU. The researches involve a new collaboration between the School and the Administration of Dalian Municipal Intellectual Property and represents a further opportunity for us to strengthen our expertise in IP and relationship with private practice.
