1. Hong Kong LLM Scholarship Programme
The Hong Kong LLM Scholarship Programme is founded by the Hong Kong Government for exchange students between DMU and HKU. HKU operates an one-year full-time LLM program.A student from Dalian Maritime University who has successfully obtained the degree of LLB can apply to HKU’s LLM program. The students should serve for shipping companies in Hong Kong forone year after completing the courses. All of selected students can get full amount bursary and living expenses.
Applicant qualification: enrolled senior students of DMU
Language capability: IELTS score should reach or exceed 7.0 (with scores of each part not less than 6.5) or IBT score should reach or exceed 97.
Commitment:The students should serve for shipping companies in Hong Kong for one year after completing the courses.
Application Time: March to April every year.
2. Hong Kong Shipping Scholarship Programme
This programme was set up by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. A student from Dalian Maritime University who has successfully obtained bachelor degree can apply to HKPU’s programme. The students will study International Shipping and Logistics Management for two years at HKPU. The students should serve for shipping companies in Hong Kong for one year after completing the courses. All of selected students can get full amount bursary and living expenses.
Applicant qualifications: Enrolled senior students of DMU, majoring in Law or transportation management.
Language capability:
IELTS score should reach or exceed 6.0.
TOEFL literaryscore should reach or exceed 550, with score of writing at least 4.5.
Computer Based TOEFL should reach or exceed 213, with score of writing at least 4.0.
TOEFL test online should reach or exceed 79, with score of writing at least 20.
Commitment:The students should serve for shipping companies in Hong Kong for one year after completing the courses.
