Yong Chunhua, member of China Democratic League, graduated from Dalian Maritime University, School of Law with a bachelor’s degree. In 2014, Yong continued his doctoral studies of Maritime Law, under the tutelage of renowned doctoral tutor, former secretary of the Board of Directors of COSCO Group, Professor Zhang Yongjian.
After graduation, Yong has worked in all kinds of shipping enterprises, such as Dalian Chun-an Ship Management Ltd., Dalian North harbor, Dalian Wuquan Shipping Co. As a sponsor, Yong established Dalian Futian Logistics Co., Ltd., which achieved good operating results in bulk transportation. During this time, Yong combined academic literacy with practice well and was admitted to our school for further study in the field of maritime law via the equivalent test of graduate record examinations.
In 2012, Yong Chunhua joined the China Democratic League, and became enthusiastic about public welfare and politics. He participated in the drafting of the speech on “Accelerating the construction of an international shipping center in Northeast Asia,” at the 12th Dalian CPPCC meeting. Yong assisted Professor Yan Tieyi of Dalian Maritime University in a national social science fund project “Legal protection of marine administrative system reform” and the judiciary project “A study on legal mechanisms of maritime search and rescue”. He also assisted Professor Zhou Jang of Southwest University of Political Science & Law in a study of “Countermeasure to legal issues of ship managers in international maritime conventions”. For the above outstanding performance in 2014, Yong was named Dalian’s outstanding member of the Domestic League.
