The international labor organization (ILO) about maritime occupational safety and health expert meeting held on October 13 to 17, 2014 in Geneva, Switzerland. In comprehensive listening to cosco, China shipping, sinotrans changhang group, the relevant maritime safety administration and maritime colleges and universities directly under the draft guidelines, the Chinese delegation twice held meetings in Beijing in preparation of Chinese content of the proposal and the proposal was accepted by the general assembly. This expert meeting by the ILO through government group, the shipowners, seafarers group tripartite meeting consistent pattern, on the draft guideline detailed discuss carefully. Expert meeting on end of the draft "guide" section and its contents, and discuss to the ILO convention 2015 and approved.
The draft guidelines on the whole meet the need of the maritime Labour convention, the performance of the identified maritime standards and guidelines on occupational safety and health management, will help to promote China's maritime occupational safety and health management, and to promote the process of our approval of the maritime Labour convention, the performance and tracking research play a positive role.
