On November 8th, hosted by Chinese civil law research Association, undertaken by Dalian Maritime University research, the Symposium on the theory and practice, fulfillment of the contract system, sponsored by Chinese Civil Law Research Association held in DMU Law School.

The Symposium was host by Professor ZhaiYunling from Dalian Maritime University, the Standing directorof Civil Law under China Law Society.
This Symposium is divided into two units. The first unit was host by Prof. Cui Jianyuan and Prof. Liu Kaixiang. Prof. Cui Jianyuan focused on the black and white contract, the theory of incomplete contract, the relationship between validity and the performance of the contract, the influence of force majeure on the performance of the contract.
Then, Pro Wang Jun, the former president of Law School in the University of International Business and Economics and Prof. Ye Lin from Renmin University of China gave opinions on the perfection of Contract Law and the problems of derivatives trading. Prof. Liu Baoyu, the president of Law School in Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Prof. Shen Weixing, Vice president of Law School in Tsinghua University, Prof. Wang Yi, the Vice president of Law School in Renmin University of China, Prof. Liu Jingwei from China University of Political Science and Law, Prof. Dong Xueli from Nanjing University of Finances and Economics expressed their point of view on related issues.
The second unit was hosted by Professor Yang Lixin, the vice president of Civil Law under China Law Society and the director of Civil and Commercial Law Research Center in Renmin University of China and Professor Ye Lin, the vice president of Commercial Law under China law society Civil Law under China Law Society, from Renmin University of China. They focused on the unilateral effect and multi effect of the validity of the contract and one-time transaction.
Prof. Zhai Yunling from Dalian Maritime University, Professor Guo Mingrui, the vice president of Civil Law under China Law Society and the former president of Yantai University and Professor Cui Jianyuan, the vice president of Civil Law under China Law Society, from Tsinghua University had an acrimonious discussion about the distinguishment of the real contract and consensual contract. Then, Pro Ai Erken from Liaoning Normal University and Professor Ye Lin, the vice president of Commercial Law under China law society Civil Law under China Law Society, from Renmin University of China commented on the distinction between civil contract and commercial contract.Besides, propositions such as the fusion of marriage law and civil law, acts of identity and the perfection of marriage law are also hotly debated.
The summary speech was given by Professor Wang Yi, the General Secretary of Civil Law under China Law Society, and the Vice president of Law School in Renmin University of China. Professor Wang Yi said, the theme of the symposium was to strengthen exchanges and promote unity. This symposium had achieved good results, setting up the extensive academic discuss and exchange in legal research, active and diligent for the constant development of the group.
The participating experts and scholars gave consistent affirmation and the positive evaluation to this seminar, the symposium emphasized innovative, high-impact and multidisciplinary communications, and believed that a fine research record enhances the quality of the academic research.
