In November 22nd, sponsored by Dalian Maritime University, Liaoning Bao Sheng Investment Co. Ltd., International Seminar on financing guarantee legal system of East Asian was successfully held in the Law School of Dalian Maritime University. The seminar was founded by 15 scholars from China, Japan and Korea in 2013, aiming to explore the uniform application of modern law of guarantee and finally give a draft of Asia standard law of guarantee.
Professor Chu Beiping, the president of the law school of Dalian maritime university, host the opening ceremony of this seminar. Professor Shan Hongjun, the vice president of Dalian Maritime University presented the ceremony and made a speech. Prof. Shan gave a full affirmation and supports to this seminar and wished this meeting a complete success.
The theme of this seminar is the development of the theory and legal precedent on mortgage-backed, the 15 scholars had a discussion on eight issues:
- Effect of mortgage and The scope of the subject matter,
- The legal right on the ground,
- Joint mortgage,
- Debtor's obligation when Collateral value decreases ,
- Conflicts between mortgage and lease,
- Realization and The priority of repayment methods of the mortgage rights,
- Subrogation,
- Mortgage of maximum amount
