In order to strict the quality of academic journal publishing, optimizing the publishing environment of academic journal and promoting a more healthy development of academic journals, the State Press and Publication Administration carried out academic journal identified and clean-up work from April 2014.
In support of the organizers, the Association of Chinese Maritime Law and the Dalian Maritime University, under the correct guidance of Professor Si Yuzhuo, the chief editor of Research on Chinese maritime law, the Research on Chinese maritime law finished the information collection work in accordance with the relative procedures.
The State Press and Publication Administration then organized relevant experts to make a rigorous examination of the submitted materials. After the examination, they held the view that Research on Chinese maritime law met the standards in the organizer, the purpose and scope of business and had a good quality in the academic level and the publication. Research on Chinese maritime law are permitted to become the first batch of determined academic periodicals.
This academic journal identified and clean-up work aimed to follow out the implementation of measures on the system reform for newspaper editorial department (implement). To insure the quality of the academic journals, the reform should proceed from reality, under the principle of highlighting the key, building brand, enhancing the integration of resources and strengthening the protection. To Research on Chinese maritime law, this indeed broadens its development platform to improve overall quality and achieve leapfrog development.
