On October 13, Elwen Evans, the dean of Swansea University law school, and Professor Baris Soyer, director of the Trade Law Research Center, visited DMU Law School and also gave lectures. Associate professor Zhang, Jinlei, Yang, Xiaonan and all the Law School graduates attended the lectures.

Lecture topics were How to Be a Successful Silk? --- The Art of Advocacy by Elwen Evans and the Insurance Act 2015---- The New Regime for England and Wales by Baris Soyer.

Time was limited though everyone had totally immersed in the warm atmosphere of the lecture. Students at present were attracted by the wonderful speeches of two professors and stood through the cathedra.

In the end, Law School JM student Liu Ru who as “1+1” exchange student in Swansea University gave a brief introduction to us. He obtained a dual LLM degree after graduation. And he would be also the first dual LLM degree exchange student in Law School.

The lecture improved academic communication between two parties. Professor Chu, Beiping, dean of DMU Law School met with two professors and also had an in-depth discussion on international exchange, academic interactive communication, etc.
