The main professional field: maritime law. The main professional direction: shipping oil pollution law, ship collision law, law of carriage of goods by sea, marine insurance law and compensation law of marine personal injury, etc.

Main academic achievements: he has completed 6 academic monographs, teaching materials and translated books and so on in maritime law and compensation law of marine pollution damage. One of them is the doctoral thesis ofPROQUEST  in the United States. One of them is the English monograph funded by Dalian Government. He is the co-editor of one of them, subeditor of one of them and compiler of one of them. One of them is translated into English from Chinese. He has published nearly 40academic papers in domestic and foreign journals and international conference.Nearly 30vertical and horizontal scientific research projects have been completed or are underway.

Main practice results: he was the agent of or participated in the processing of more than 300 maritime cases about foreign or domestic ship collision and compensation of oil pollution damage. He is the permanent counselor for more than 10 shipping companies, such as Dalian COSCOLogistics and so on. He was one of the top ten counselors in the fourth national transportation enterprise in 2009.
