Mr. WangXin, born in October 1971 at Dalian China, graduated from Dalian Maritime University (DMU) and was granted a LLM degree in DMU in 1996. Mr. Wang was qualified as a PRC lawyer as from 1996. From 1998 to 2000 Mr. Wang researched English and Chinese marine insurance law in Department of Shipping and Transport Logistics of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and acquired a Master of Philosophy Degree in 2001. Mr. Wang was engaged as associate professor of maritime law and LLM supervisor by DMU as from 2004. In the end of 2013, Mr. Wang was awarded a PhD degree in law by DMU (PhD thesis: Legal Regime of Warranty in Marine Insurance Contracts). Mr. Wang is now an associate professor and LLM supervisor at Law School of DMU.

Mr. Wang is the author or co-author of several books such as Shipping Practice and Maritime Law, Research on Rotterdam Rules, Law of Maritime Tort, Standard Contracts related to Salvage and Wreck Removal and many academic articles on maritime law, some of which published within last 5 years are listed below.
